| Jarrahdale Heritage Society has won acclaim for its interesting exhibitions and this new display is no exception.
The exhibition looks at Jarrahdale's ‘built heritage’, from the rough bush huts made from timber slabs and bag houses to the modern homes on the new Chestnuts estate. A history of a number of ‘public’ buildings and older homes has been compiled, with contributions from local children who show their own colourful views of their homes.
Visit the museum on weekends or public holidays between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm. Alternatively, if you would like to make a special visit, members of the Society will be more than happy to open the museum – contact us either via our website www.jarrahdale.com or telephone Di Henniker on 9525 5161. |
